SOS Project – COVID19 Emergency

The SOS projectSmart Operating Shelter – becomes more and more current because of the COVID19 emergency and the ever-increasing demand for beds in intensive care.

Indeed, in the coming weeks it will be important to be able to set up temporary health facilities capable of giving an effective response in terms of isolation and treatment of infected patients.

As part of the SOS project, architectural layouts were designed and engineering solutions were investigated to quickly set up mobile health structures that are easy to assemble and install, with smart sandwich panels and with low environmental impact. The know-how acquired in these months will be made available to the regional health system.
